It is our goal that everyone benefits from having a Dora Financial account. To open an account, the first thing you need to do is download the Dora Financial app from the App Store or Google Play Store.
To get started, register your email, phone number, name, date of birth, and address. Then, we will need you to have one of the following valid documents to apply:
- Passport from your country*
- Social Security Number (SSN)**
- ITIN (with your letter or card)
- Consular Registration from the following countries: Argentina, Colombia (Consular Registration Card), Ecuador, Guatemala (Consular Identification Card), and Mexico (Consular Registration)
Finally, we will need to verify your address. We’ll ask you to upload one of the following accepted documents:
- Cable Bill
- Internet Bill
- Water invoice
- Electricity Invoice
- Gas Bill
- Property Taxes
- Rental or lease agreement not expired in the name of the applicant
What Happens If I Don’t Have the Documents to Verify My Address?
*Venezuelan passport holders will have a validity period of five years from the expiration date of their passport/extension.
**The Individual Taxpayer Identification Number (ITIN) is a number for tax filing purposes.
